Our take
Iga bakar madu, ikan bakar Bali and ketam sos Padang put Malay-Indonesian cooking at the centre of the table. If we were choosing a sharing spread, we’d start with the iga bakar madu and let the crab compete for the remaining plate space. Rusuk kambing kari kandar and sotong hitam widen the savoury choices, with serawa durian waiting on the dessert side. The casual sit-down setting suits a longer lunch or dinner with family and friends. Leave room for dessert; durian rarely accepts an apology about being full.
