Our take

Fresh pasta made in-house in rotating shapes and flavours is the point at Tipo Pasta Bar's Aliwal outlet. If we were choosing one plate, we would start with the S$19.90 Aglio Alright—tiger prawns, garlic confit, grana padano and a sous vide egg, before GST and service charge. Royal Ragu, Classy Carbonara and Aubergine Affair give the table beef, smoked duck and vegetable-led alternatives. The build-your-own section makes this a flexible sit-down pasta choice for friends with different cravings. Your only group project is choosing a sauce; that should be less painful than the last one.
